OneCare is Vermont’s local, 501(c)(3) Accountable Care Organization (ACO). We work at the forefront of health care reform and innovation by partnering with health care providers to transform the state’s health care system. By managing network performance, giving health care providers actionable data and analytics, and providing payments in a structure that incentivizes quality of care and improved population health, we support participating organizations in their work to deliver excellent health care to Vermonters.

Healthcare Financial Analyst (Remote Possibility)

The Healthcare Financial Analyst contributes heavily in developing, operationalizing, maintaining, and monitoring OneCare Vermont’s payment reform initiatives as an Accountable Care Organization. These initiatives include:

  • Statewide value-based contracts with payers
  • Hospital fixed payment conversions
  • The Comprehensive Payment Reform program for independent primary care
  • Other payment reforms yet to be operationalized.

Care Coordination Implementation Specialist

The Care Coordination Implementation Specialist is responsible for working with senior leadership in developing and executing on care coordination implementation strategies required of the Accountable Care Organization (ACO) under it payer contracts. This position will develop and implement care coordination procedures and practices to support process improvement and clinical rollout of care coordination software platforms.

Senior Compliance Analyst

The Compliance Analyst Sr. performs detailed analysis involving regulatory issues, reimbursement, and all aspects of monitoring the institutional compliance of OneCare Vermont with regard to all federal and state laws and regulations. The Analyst monitors and audits medical, billing and related practices for compliance with applicable regulations. They prepare data and reports of compliance monitoring activities and assist in investigating and following up on reported issues. The ideal candidate will be forward thinking, open-minded, demonstrate a clear attention to detail, and posses professional policy writing skills. Potential for Remote Work.

Assistant General Counsel of ACO Contracting

The Assistant General Counsel of ACO Contracting provides legal advice and counsel to OneCare Vermont Payer, Provider and Vendor contracts under the direction of the Director of ACO Contracting. Legal areas of focus include: Federal, State, and Commercial and Third Party Payer contracting, Administrative Service Agreements, Accountable Care Organization Network Agreements, legal research, Payer policy review, legal compliance, regulatory compliance.

ACO Controller

The Controller will be responsible for developing, maintaining and managing the OneCare Vermont (“OneCare”) accounting operations and providing accounting leadership and expertise within University of Vermont Health Network (UVMHN) affiliates. These accountabilities are integral to the overall success of OneCare and the UVMHN value-based care initiatives and a successful person in this role will ensure smooth and accounting operations and a high level of coordination between initiatives and affiliates.  The Controller will work closely with the OneCare VP of Finance, members of the OneCare finance team, leadership within the UVMHN, and members of UVMHN finance and accounting teams.
